Ellicott is a town in Chautauqua County, New York. It is considered part of the Western New York region. The town is approximately ten miles north of the New York- Pennsylvania state line and approximately seventy miles south of the City of Buffalo. Ellicott surrounds the City of Jamestown to the north, east, and west. The town also has several miles of shoreline along the scenic Chautauqua Lake., Ellicott’s population was estimated at 8,500. The town includes two villages, Falconer and Celeron. Falconer is the main population area and location of town offices. The Ellicott Justice Court is also located in Falconer.
