Evans is a town in Erie County, New York. It is located approximately twenty-five miles southwest of downtown Buffalo. The Lake Erie shore forms the town’s western boundary. The Town of Evans includes the Village of Angola, the location of town offices and the town court. The town also encompasses the hamlets of Derby, Evans Beach Park, Evans Center, Grandview Bay, Highland-on-the-Lake, Jerusalem Corners, Lake Erie Beach, and North Evans.
