French Creek, New York
French Creek is a rural town in Chautauqua County, New York. The town received its name from the creek that flows through it. As of January of 2022, the population of French Creek was 858. The town’s geography is unique in that it is square shaped and sits on the most southwestern part of New York State. The Pennsylvania state line forms the town’s southern and western border. French Creek is closer to Pittsburgh, Detroit and Cleveland, than Albany and New York City.
