Gerry is a small and rural town in Chautauqua County, New York. It is considered part of the Western New York region. Gerry is located just north just north of the City of Jamestown and east of the Allegheny River. , the population was estimated at 1,800. The town was formed in 1812 and named after the fifth Vice President of the United States, Elbridge Gerry. The town is well known for its annual summer rodeo held since 1945.
