Holland is the name of a small and rural town in Erie County, New York. The town is considered part of the Western New York Region and is roughly thirty miles southeast Buffalo. As of January of 2022, the population was 3,653. Holland was settled by the Dutch and at first named “Humphrey Valley” from 1807 to 1818. The town has two hamlets, Dutchtown and Protection.
