Warsaw is the name of a town in Wyoming County, New York. It is located approximately fifty miles southwest of Rochester and approximately fifty miles east of Buffalo. The area is known as the Western New York region. The town encompasses the Village of Warsaw, which is its main population area. Warsaw also encompasses the hamlets of East Warsaw, Newburg, Oatka, Rock Glen, South Warsaw, and Thompsons Crossing., the total town population was estimated at 5,250.
