Groveland is a town in Livingston County, New York. It is considered part of the Finger Lakes region. Conesus Lake, one of the Finger Lakes, forms part of the town’s eastern boundary. As of 2010, the population was 3,200.
Groveland Town Court handles a lot of traffic violations. There are two main origins for these traffic tickets. The first is Interstate 390 (Genesee Expressway) that curves through the western side of the town. The speed limit is 65 mph and New York State Troopers are often stopping motorists and issuing speeding violations. The second is Sonyea Road (NYS-36). This is road right off Exit 6. Motorists often do not adjust properly to the reduced speed off the highway and are stopped for speeding.
Before replying guilty or not guilty to your traffic ticket, you should (in our opinion) contact a traffic ticket lawyer. The Benjamin Goldman Law Office offers a free consultation for motorists with tickets answerable to the Groveland Town Court.
