Murray is the name of a town in Orleans County, New York. It is located around thirty miles west of downtown Rochester. , it was home to approximately 5,000 residents. Murray contains one village and three hamlets. The village is named Holley. The Erie Canal runs through the village. It is also the location of town offices. The hamlets are named Murray, Brockville and Hulberton.
