Albion is a town in Orleans County, New York. It is around forty miles west of Rochester and around fifty miles east of the Niagara Falls. Albion is the largest town by population in Orleans County. , the town population was estimated at 7,394.
Within the town, is a Village of Albion. It is the town's main residential and commercial area. The village is the "seat" of Orleans County. This means all Orleans County government offices are located in the village. In addition to the village, the town encompasses the hamlets of Eagle Harbor Station and Riches Corners.
